MEET THE ARTIST : Click Here

Yiorgos Kaloudis will present a solo concert with his compositions from his personal discography, “Truth”, “On The Wind”, “J.S.Bach: Cello Suites On The Cretan Lyra”, “Aptera”.

Silence that makes time expand, used by the artist, creates an outwardly mystical horizon that redeem the limitation of senses.

Yiorgos combines his techniques and different cello and lyra timbres with a sensitive use of live looping, creating contemplating music, with influences of classical and ambient music. With the use of effects and live loop recording technique, he creates sound layers that amplify the soundscape, enhancing the timber of the two instruments.

The poetic expression of the bow, in the tonal/tropic form of compositions, the experimentation on improvisation and the use of multiple vibrations, creates an emotional imprint of catharsis.

MEET THE ARTISTS : Click Here

Intending to expand the festival to new forms of art, we are launching the first photographic exhibition. Every year major international photographers will be hosted through our residency program European Polyphony, allowing artists to explore the island of Rhodes, the Aegean and Mediterranean. In this first program, we are pleased to host French photographer Adeline Bommart. Her work on the island will be presented in the third edition of the festival in September 2020.

In occasion of Cyprus' artistic presence in the second edition of the Festival, we present the first photographic exhibition entitled "Cyprus-Side Stories", at the Inn of France. The two French photographers Adeline Bommart and Thomas Deschamps had the opportunity to photograph and present their work in Cyprus in 2017.

Exhibitor « Cyprus-Side Stories » :

Marie Grosjean (Fr)

« Side Stories, a photo exhibition that took place Nicosia in2017, was a chance for me, having recently arrived here, to learn more about the specific history of the island and its 1974 invasion by the turkish army, as well as its still current into two entities.

Through the lens of two professional French photographers, Adeline Bommart and Thomas Deschamps, they impressions of the island reveal to us a different story from what our untrained eye can grasp. »
